Hugs are a simple way to show your support and make others feel better. They may protect you against illness, boost heart health in the long run (or short), be an important part of making friends at school or work because it shows that we care about each other as humans with feelings too! The only bad thing is when people don't hug enough which leaves them feeling lonely - so give your kid a good hug before they leave in the morning!
