Leroy was such a gentleman for his PEMF session and kinesiology taping.

We PEMF the whole body, with a focus on his front legs. He is recovering from a superficial digital flexor injury.

PEMF helps decrease inflammation, reduce pain, increase blood circulation and aid in accelerated healing.

Kinesiology Taping for additional support, proprioception, and reduce pain.

We showed his owner how to tape the secondary leg, so she can reapply as needed.

Meet Twist! She is an OG client who has been with me from the start!

When I started with Twist, she previously had an incident and sustained an injury to her lumbar/SI area and had chronic swelling/inflammation pockets on BOTH sides of her rump.

With regular PEMF sessions, and Kinesiology taping we have reduced the swelling/inflammation and have been able to keep it regulated.

Her owner has been thrilled with the progress. We went from refusing to walk forward and rearing from pain when trying to be riden, with swelling/inflammation. TO able to be riden and even going on trail rides, and able to go several weeks in between sessions and the swelling NOT returning.

PEMF helps decrease inflammation, increase circulation (bringing new blood and nutrients to the area, and flushed away the old), increase mobility.

Working on Twist this afternoon, we completed a 40 min Full Body PEMF session with a focus on SI, Stifles and Poll.

Not a joke...

Have you ever wondered why you can have a 15 acre field and part of it is chewed down to nubs and the other part has grass a hand high, But your horse is constantly grazing in the chewed down part?

Grass 6 inches and taller has less sugars than grass under 6 inches.

For every inch drop below 6 inches, the fructan (sugar) content rises.

Grass under 6 inches is stressed like it's a Monday morning with a project deadline. It uses sugar to repair itself.

Stop mowing your fields short.

Stop grazing your chubbys on chewed down grass. (this is why grazing muzzles are so touted...they keep the horse from being able to get much short grass)

(We aren't saying let your fields be 3 feet tall, by the way. The optimal thing to do is keep them 6-8 inches tall and graze them in small areas there)

PEMF provides a total body experience. While most of the time I am working on animals that have an injury or issue, we can also take a healthy horse and do PEMF session and make them better. Why? Because PEMF increases the oxygen levels by 200%! Which provides more blood to the tissues and the organs, and more blood to the areas that need a little more healing. Adding more oxygen also increases better lung function.

Decrease Inflammation. Increase Circulation. Accelerate Healing.
