Join mindfulness and Social-Emotional Learning expert Sarah Sampson for an an online yoga and mindfulness summer camp adventure for kids K-5. This online series will teach children the tools for resiliency and emotional-regulation with mindfulness, yoga movement, and play! Campers will have fun while learning:
Tools for calming down and learning emotional intelligence
Yoga poses for stretching, strength, and confidence building
Mindful movements that energize us and slow us down for self-regulation
Mindful games for fun and happiness!
Instructor: Sarah Sampson is Dallas Yoga Center’s Director of Mindfulness and Social-Emotional Learning. As the former Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator for Keller ISD, Sarah led the implementation of SEL and mindfulness-based activities in a school district that serves over 34,000 students. She began her educational journey as a classroom educator teaching healthy-self expression and emotional regulation as a K-4th grade theatre teacher. Her classes focus on teaching the tools to find calm and focus through creative and engaging strategies. Sarah is certified social-emotional learning, mindfulness, and yoga teacher.
