It is not lost on me or others, the unique honor and blessing it is to guide others — whether it is with meditation, sound healing, mindfulness or reiki.

Every practice serves as a remembering — a remembering of who you are, a reconnection back to all of the facets of your Self, and a homecoming of sorts back to the incredible BEING that you already are fashioned to live and to be.

Reiki is no different. Being able to recognize what’s already within you is one of the most beautiful journeys that anybody can experience, and I’m just grateful to be a part of it.

It never fails watching students wake up and recognize their own spiritual gifts or energy, or becoming attuned to what they’ve had inside of them all along.

This weekend, I trained and certified more Reiki I graduates at who were on fire 🔥 about the practice, but more importantly excited about being in community with one another. Thank you all for trusting me to guide you! 🙏🤍

I prayed for a love like this. ✨ Happy to make memories and travel around the world with the love of my life. Our journey is unconventional, but that’s ok. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Back to Bali. 2 years later. An engagement later. An angel baby 😇 later. Many trips to the Motherland later 🇿🇦. And many more moments we’ll have around the sun.

Cheers 🥂 to the Mr. - the one who makes me laugh, smile, doesn’t play about me…and records me when I’m snoring asleep.

Hosting my first wellness retreat was a beautiful unfolding - of watching an idea come to life. Something that was in my head, a desire that I wanted to give to all — came to fruition…and what a beautiful sight it was to see. ✨

When I first traveled to several years back, it was a magical and majestic place of beauty, splendor and love. From the food to the people (the sweetest on earth) to the healers, to nature — I knew that I wanted to share Her with those who may have needed Her the most. (Yes I’m calling Bali a Her because it feels very feminine when you’re there — the care, the comfort and the nurturing…
IYKYK)

Fast forward, I knew I wanted to host my first international retreat in Bali. And partnering with a travel guru and my preferred travel coordinator was a no brainer — and the rest was history. Kenna is the best hands down and her team and .masangwana.98 guided us with care.

It was a space of peace, of charm, and a unique and curious rendering of coming back to one’s self (in whatever way that was).

I stood in awe as I witnessed healing, release, new beginnings and friendships in bloom.

Im blessed that my sister was in attendance, my sound bath partner and my fiance . They showed me love, encouragement, and support when I needed it the most.

Many lessons were learned and for those that have asked, yes I’m planning more retreats — some more focused on meditation/mindfulness (viapassana style), some domestic and international travel related, and some completely geared towards self-care and wellness.
