Sound healers need love too! Testing out new bowls and picking up some Eastern methods of vibrational sound therapy to bring back with me to the U.S.

This healing institution in Kathmandu, Nepal was a dream. Surrounded by authentic, handmade bowls — from singing bowls to therapy bowls to moon bowls.

Yes, I selected a few that spoke to me. Unfortunately they were too big to bring back so I’m having them shipped.

I think that every sound healer should travel East to experience different methods of sound healing AND have the chance to hand select your bowls with the actual makers.

This location was at the Boudha Stupa.

Meditating “In Peace”

Nothing beats being in nature and experiencing the beauty of what’s before you.

It’s mindfulness at its finest.

I’ll take my pics for sure - but anyone who knows me and travels with me knows how much I despise constant photo taking.

I’d rather sit, breathe, and truly soak in the wonders that are all around me. I want be “in” the moment - sensing and feeling it all, and not “about” the moment.

When amongst nature and Her beauty, she truly deserves our complete, undivided attention.

It is not lost on me or others, the unique honor and blessing it is to guide others — whether it is with meditation, sound healing, mindfulness or reiki.

Every practice serves as a remembering — a remembering of who you are, a reconnection back to all of the facets of your Self, and a homecoming of sorts back to the incredible BEING that you already are fashioned to live and to be.

Reiki is no different. Being able to recognize what’s already within you is one of the most beautiful journeys that anybody can experience, and I’m just grateful to be a part of it.

It never fails watching students wake up and recognize their own spiritual gifts or energy, or becoming attuned to what they’ve had inside of them all along.

This weekend, I trained and certified more Reiki I graduates at who were on fire 🔥 about the practice, but more importantly excited about being in community with one another. Thank you all for trusting me to guide you! 🙏🤍

Thanking the wonderful women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated; Omega Alpha Omega Chapter, for having me as your wellness instructor for your PinkWell self-care and breast cancer awareness event.

Guests were guided through a mini breath awareness session and 30 min sound bath.

Only 2 women had ever experienced a sound bath meditation before, so it was my honor to introduce them to a new way of healing, and a new modality for wellness through music and sound.

I am looking forward to hopefully seeing you all again! 💗💚💗

Spent the last 3 days providing meditation, breathwork and sound bath classes for annual conference attendees. It was their first time implementing wellness into their conference schedule for the attendees in between sessions, and I might say that it was a success!

It was my absolute HONOR to lead attendees through mindful breathing / breath awareness, alternate nostril breathing techniques, belly breathing, Metta meditations, and of course — my specialty — an expansive journey through SOUND.

What an awesome way to journey back to themselves, after how much each and every one of them and their organizations pours into the community.
