This week I started training for my 15th marathon… and I’ll be honest, I didn’t feel like it.
Cold mornings. Long hours. Low motivation. Sound familiar?

Most people think the challenge of a marathon is race day.

These are the messages we love getting!!

Oh, I have the greatest news for you. . .It's hard for me to admit...but I haven't been under 200 lbs for at least 20 years. . .probably longer. . . but I am NOW! Even better. . .yesterday I amazed my Dr!!!! My blood pressure was 100/60 (I've never seen those numbers), he cut blood pressure meds to 1/4 (when I go back for labs he said he'd take me completely off). The only other thing I take is for heartburn. . .everyother day now and maybe off in January!!!! He's confident my cholesterol numbers are going to be great in January!!! I was there for results of the echocardiogram I had, which showed my heart is perfect!

Yes we can help, but you will have to do the work, and be about the the work for the rest of your life.

Our Story

It all started in the '70s at Muscle Beach in Venice, where celebrity sightings were commonplace and serious bodybuilders were putting in serious work. By the '80s, our small gym full of hand-built equipment had grown into a global fitness empire, and our dedication only grew as our membership base did. Today, we're more than 200 gyms strong, serving several continents. Bringing back the classics, like old-school weightlifting with barbells, we're dedicated to keeping fitness simple and effective. And, across locations, we're carrying on the World Gym tradition of making sure our members have access to seriously fun fitness. Every. Single. Day.
