General Dentist & Partner - Marshall, TX

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a general dentist and potential partner to join our group. Our Marshall, TX practice has grown significantly over the last couple of years, and we recently completed an expansion project to double the number of operatories in the building to allow for continued growth. You would practice in tandem with another dentist in a free-standing building, have a fully-trained staff, and benefit from the stellar reputation of the existing practice/dentist. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have the autonomy of a private practice but the operational and financial support that comes with being part of a group. Situated as the county seat in Harrison County, Marshall is a sought-after place to live in East Texas and is considered a great place to raise a family.

The new dentist would be expected to:

● Assist in all clinical efforts in the practice, with complete autonomy, and work with other partner dentists to determine the best path for patient care

● Manage and support day-to-day activities of the practice - with the support of our business team that handles personnel management, marketing, collections/billing, and a number of other functions

Requirements

● Completion of dental school and DDS or DMD designation

● Ability to perform (or willingness to learn) all aspects of comprehensive dentistry, including crown & bridge, restorative, oral surgery, endo and implants

● Desire to live and work in East Texas - including being actively involved in the community

Pearl Street Dental Partners is seeking an experienced Dental Insurance Verifier at our Dallas office. This person will be verifying for multiple offices. We'd prefer to have someone with at least 6 months of dental experience but are willing to train.

Medical, vision, life, 401k, and Aflac insurance are offered. We are looking to hire someone to start in June.

Do you have 3-4 years of dental office administrative experience with an emphasis on Insurance Billing, Collections and Revenue Cycle Management? We are seeking an experienced Insurance Billing/Collections Specialist from a dental office to join our support team in Dallas, TX.

This position will require phone contact with insurance company representatives and dental practices.

Specific Job Skills and Responsibilities

Must have knowledge of Insurance Billing, Collections and Revenue Cycle Management in a dental office
Employ measures to expedite claim adjudication by resolving issues that may delay processing
Expert knowledge of outgoing and incoming insurance processes and insurance follow-up
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and works cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
Follow up with insurance carriers on special insurance billings and claims
Knowledge of CDT coding and terminology, a plus
Must be detail oriented, organized and work with little supervision
Knowledge of dental/medical industry and insurance plans
Ability to read and write in a clear and concise manner
Ability to multi-task effectively under stress, prioritize and meet deadlines with strong attention paid to detail of work produced
Pleasant and professional phone etiquette
Must have knowledge of computer programs and operations (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Knowledge and experience working with public and private insurance companies
Ability to maintain client and patient confidentiality
Open Dental knowledge is a plus
Education and/or Experience

Associate’s or Bachelor's degree;
Or two - five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in the dental insurance billing processing environment.
Dental experience is required
