MAY is National Mental Health Awareness Month - and - Texas Mental Health Resources is providing HOPE!

1. MindCare Support Groups
An important part of improving mental health is connecting regularly with others who face similar challenges. TXMHR's goal is to establish MindCare peer-to-peer support groups across the state.

2. Health Care Assistance
Access to affordable health care and medications is critical to sustained mental health. Through generous donors, Texas Mental Health Resources is able in many cases to help defray some of these expenses.

3. Advocacy & Partnership
Texas is in a mental health crisis situation, with depression reaching the full spectrum, from children to seniors. Partner with Texas Mental Health Resources in facing this crisis head-on by letting us provide understanding and training to your church or civic organization. If you are a business or church leader, TXMHR would be grateful for an opportunity to visit with you about partnering to increase awareness and understanding.
