I had my after surgery follow up with Dr Shaad Bidiwala. Everything is healing nicely. Next step is to turn on the zapper May 10th. 👏👏

The (after) photos. The 2 on the top are where the leads went thru the skull and into her brain. The one on the side closer to the back is where the leads are stored until she gets the ”pacemaker” installed on April 10th.
Needless to say she has a bit of a headache!

Well there was not a lot of sleep had last nite. She is in ICU so there was a nurse in here at least every 30 minutes. Moving to regular room today. Crystal ate a good breakfast and took a walk to the nurses station and back. The nurses and housekeepers are all so nice at Baylor!!

The surgeon just came out and shared this video with me. She is in recovery now waiting for a room in ICU.
You can see her hand not shaking while current is going to the leads in her brain and then her hand shaking when he turns it off. Amazing!!
