Behind every recovery story is a real person with real pain, setbacks, and eventually purpose.

William Schulze’s story is one of loss, addiction, family, recovery, and finding meaning through helping others. After struggling with co***ne addiction, losing his mother during COVID, and hitting rock bottom, William chose a different path — one focused on healing, accountability, and helping others navigate recovery.

Today, he serves as a Life & Recovery Coach at Campbell Recovery Services and is working toward becoming an LCDC and eventually an LCSW.

One thing that stands out in William’s story is how purpose can completely change someone’s direction in life.

Recovery is possible.

We’re excited to share that Stephen Kleine has officially completed training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and is now offering ART services at Campbell Recovery Services.

ART is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and reduce distress related to trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, compulsive behaviors, and other difficult life experiences. Using guided eye movements and visualization techniques, ART helps the brain reprocess painful memories in a way that can reduce emotional intensity and create lasting relief—often in a shorter timeframe than traditional talk therapy alone.

One of the things we value most at Campbell Recovery Services is continuing to grow our clinical team’s training and ability to offer specialized care to the clients and families we serve.

We’re proud of Stephen for continuing to expand his skillset and excited to now offer another effective trauma-focused treatment option through our practice.

For more information about ART therapy or to schedule with Stephen, visit our website or contact Campbell Recovery Services.

**𝐀𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐣𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐔𝐩. 𝐖𝐡𝐲?**

Many younger adults are drinking less alcohol while ma*****na use continues to rise.

Growing concerns about alcohol's impact on sleep, mental health, and overall wellness have caused many people to rethink their relationship with drinking. At the same time, ma*****na has become more socially accepted and widely available.

But regardless of the substance, the most important question remains the same: Is it negatively impacting your life?

Read our latest blog for a balanced look at this growing cultural shift.

https://campbellrecoveryservices.com/why-alcohol-use-may-be-decreasing-while-ma*****na-use-continues-to-rise/

For decades, alcohol has been one of the most socially accepted substances in American culture. It has long been connected to celebrations, social events, sports, nightlife, and even stress relief. But in recent years, there has been a noticeable cultural shift taking place. Many studies and surveys...

S*x addiction is rarely talked about openly, but for many people, the struggle is very real. It can impact relationships, mental health, work, self-worth, and daily life. Like other forms of addiction, it’s not simply about “willpower” or making better choices. Often, deeper emotional, psychological, and behavioral patterns are involved.

Understanding the signs and possible causes is an important first step toward healing. Recovery is possible with the right support, guidance, and treatment.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available.

Many people think medications like Xanax are “safer” because they are prescribed by a doctor.

But benzodiazepines can carry serious risks, especially when misused, taken long-term, or mixed with alcohol or other substances.

Dependence, withdrawal, memory issues, and overdose risks are all part of a conversation that more people need to understand.

Our newest blog breaks down the risks of Xanax and other benzodiazepines, what families should know, and when it may be time to seek help.

Read the full blog at the link below.

Benzodiazepines are some of the most commonly prescribed medications in the United States. They are often used to treat anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, muscle spasms, and certain seizure disorders. AI can answer questions instantly. It can give advice. It can even sound supportive.

But that does not make it a therapist.

Real therapy involves human connection, clinical judgment, accountability, emotional nuance, and trust that technology simply cannot replace.

Our newest blog breaks down why AI may be a tool, but it should never replace real mental health care.
