Something exciting is happening! I have been offering ketamine assisted psychotherapy for a few months now, but for me the nature of this therapy is so precious and sacred that I wanted to wait to share until I have enough experience and results to lean on. This journey started as a personal one.. and holy crap, it has been life-changing. I have been in therapy for a long long time, and while I LOVE my therapist and past therapists, I have never experienced anything like this before. I wanted to do this for my own healing, but also so that I can have a deeply intimate idea of what I will be leading clients into. I truly believe this is the best and most ethical way to train yourself before entering into a new modality with clients. As my own experience progressed and I "finished" my training I began slowly integrating a few clients into KAP. Most of these clients are people I have been working with for at least several months, and they were ready for a shift in their process. The results and changes I have seen in not only my clinical work, but for clients to truly find their own inner healer (we all have one), have been nothing short of miraculous and beautiful and awe inspiring. I know there can be hesitance and questioning around using a medicine in therapy, which is why I am sharing, so I can answer all the questions!
