Passionate care on both sides of the NICU bedside.

Inspired by the resilience of tiny patients, Pam joined the Level IV NICU at Children’s Health in 2018. After experiencing the NICU as a parent herself, her empathy for families grew even deeper.

Today, she brings compassion and advocacy to every milestone, big or small, helping families feel supported every step of the way. We’re grateful for nurses like Pam who lead with heart every day. 🎈

What an amazing way to ring in the New Year! 🎊 Our Patient Ambassador Brantley proudly served as the Ohio State Honorary Captain at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. He interviewed players, joined the captains for the coin toss and enjoyed the game with his family. Huge thanks to Cotton Bowl Classic, Goodyear and Ohio State Football for this unforgettable opportunity! 🎈

When Matthew's asthma worsened while playing competitive tennis, doctors discovered he had pectus excavatum – a condition in which the chest grows inward.

Matthew’s surgical team, led by Dr. Adam Alder, Pediatric Surgeon and Associate Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center, created custom-fit metal bars for his chest. Over a period of three years, the bars gradually lifted his sternum into the correct position before removal.

Along the way, Matthew’s experience and the care he received left a lasting impression and helped shape his path forward. Now a busy pre-med student majoring in microbiology and immunology, Matthew is preparing to have his bars removed soon.
