Herbs are heaven sent gifts to our bodies. 🌿
It's nothing short of a miracle that each plant divinely had a purpose + they are beautiful examples of the grandeur of God.
Yesterday I was honored to be a part of my dear friend 's mother blessing ceremony.
We prepped some postpartum baños, tea, infused witch hazel, + got to bond with each other + pour our intentions and prayers over Kiki + her baby. 🤍
I can see myself being a part of more events like this in the future. It filled my cup in a way that I can't explain.
Grateful for all of the friends made + for the village of women that surrounds us. 🫶🏼

Yesterday's fire cider class was so much fun! 🔥

Seeing all the mamas with their babies in their carriers + several of my friends + their friends coming to learn about herbalism was so nice!

Community herbalism is the people's medicine. 🌿

Fresh herbs 🌿, raw local honey 🍯 from , and lots of learning + bonding!

Hoping to do more classes like this, + maybe an elderberry make + take in December? 👀

Thanks to Sheila for letting us use the birth center as a community space, to everyone who came by + also to everyone that helped me set up + clean up when they didn't have to! So glad everyone had fun! 💓

Hey y'all! I've got a class coming up on October 14th that I'd love for you to be a part of! I have 10 spots for this class the first go around + we'll be learning all about fire cider! 🔥 🌶 🫚 🌿
Fire cider is an awesome immune booster for these chilly seasons coming up. We will be learning about herbal actions, how to make an oxymel, and everyone will get to take home their quart of handcrafted fire cider!

pregnant mamas, trying to conceive mamas, postpartum mamas, and all my gals out there....how much protein are you eating?
do you follow the outdated 1200 calorie rule?
we need at least 100g of protein a day! that means at least 30g of protein at each meal if you're eating 3x a day.
without protein, our body cannot function and grow healthy babies. we won't recover from stress. our hormones will be in a constant state of imbalance.
do yourself the biggest favor and eat a nice big meal with lots of bioavailable protein! you owe it to yourself to fuel your beautiful body and to eat!

-3 pasture raised eggs cooked w/ raw milk + sea salt
-pasture raised yogurt w/ local bee pollen
-nice lil apple
-additive free ketchup

Our amazing local birth center coming through with alllll the nutrition tips! 🤗

Eating in pregnancy can be such a challenge. Women in our care recieve helpful tips for hyperemesis gravidarum and nutrition! We are also a listening and empathetic ear as you find your rhythm with food!
