I got the chance to be a presenter for Career Day! Initially I was hesitant, but I'm sooooo glad I decided to attend. The students were engaged and receptive to the information I shared. I found myself talking longer than I timed because the students asked many great questions! I'm so passionate about mental health in our community and intentional with being my authentic self when I am sharing my career journey or it' simportance. I love being able to connect with people even if it's just 1 person.

Thank you to Metropolitan Dallas Alumnae Chapter - Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. & Kinnect Wellness Network for having me as one of the guest panelist for the "Finding Hope in Darkness" event on yesterday. I had an amazing time and could feel the impact in the room. It is truly an honor to be able to take part in efforts towards breaking the stigma around mental health in our community. We are breaking down these barriers & doing the work! I LOVE US... REAL BAD!
