We want to wish our families a blessed Easter! 🌷

Our cemetery will be open from sunrise to sunset for families to visit loved ones’ graves.

Our cemetery office will be closed today so that our cemetery staff can spend today with their families. If you need anything, please call at 214-350-9951. We will be open at normal business time tomorrow.

It’s no April Fool’s joke— today is the first day of our Spring Cleaning!

Starting today, all grave decorations (other than flowers in cemetery-approved vases) will be disposed of in the trash. Families are encouraged to pick up their decorations if you haven’t already done so. Decorations may be placed out on cemetery spaces again starting on Nov. 2, 2026.

Why do we do this? As mowing season comes into full swing, we will be mowing our memorial park more often to keep up with the growing grass. Cemetery decorations may cause harm to our staff members or our equipment while mowing. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

📆It's that time of year again! Crown Hill Memorial Park's Spring Cleaning begins next week on April 1, 2026! Please gather any cemetery decorations by April 1st! Any decorations left over will be disposed of by our maintenance team.

With the start of mowing season, our cemetery maintenance crew will begin picking up cemetery decorations that are not flowers in cemetery-approved vases.

Why are we doing this? We have many reasons, but here are the main 3:

🤕It keeps our maintenance crew safe from ricocheting items coming up from the mower blades.

⛓️‍💥It keeps our mowers from breaking down due to things getting sucked up into the blades.

🌱It makes mowing more efficient to ensure that our staff keeps a steady mowing schedule.

We will be posting throughout the week to keep giving reminders to families to pick up their items. Please take advantage of the beautiful weather and come by to pick up cemetery decorations!

We want to wish everyone a fun and safe New Year's Eve and New Year's Day!

Starting at 12:00 PM on New Year's Eve, our office will be closed so our staff can spend time with their loved ones. We will remain closed throughout New Year's Day, and will reopen at normal business hours on January 2, 2026. The cemetery grounds will be open throughout the holiday from sun up to sun down. If you need to speak to someone about an urgent matter, please give us a call at 214-350-9951.

We want to wish each of our families a blessed Christmas!

Starting at 12:00 PM on Christmas Eve, our office will be closed and will remain closed throughout Christmas Day. Our office will resume normal business hours on December 26, 2025. The cemetery will remain open for families to visit their loved ones.

Our cemetery offices will be closed on Thanksgiving Day so that our staff members can spend the day with their families. Crown Hill Memorial Park will remain open from sun up until sundown so that families can visit loved ones if they wish. Our office will be closed on Memorial Day so that our staff may spend this day with their families. The cemetery will be open for the public from sunrise until sunset. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to our office staff on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

Today is our Cemetery Clean Up Day! We are conducting a Spring Cleaning of our cemetery, and we are picking up all decorations and putting them in bags. The bags will be on the side of the mausoleum with loved ones' names on them.

Starting today, only artificial flowers in cemetery-approved vases and fresh flowers (in a cemetery approved vase or not) are allowed in the cemetery until November 2.

This rule is in place so that our cemetery staff can safely mow and maintain the cemetery grounds. Decorations have the tendency to get caught in our mower which causes our mowing schedule to get pushed back and the grounds to become overgrown. And as mentioned this is in place to keep our staff safe from broken items, ricocheting landscaping rocks, and more.

We appreciate your understanding of this rule!
