Check out these logos for the women at TDCJ Marlin Unit who have completed the T.H.R.I.V.E. course (Transforming Her Reality Into Victory Everyday) and will attend a special business mentorship session tomorrow to help them plan for their release.

This year, 187 women have graduated from the program. After prison, women will thrive.

It’s a beautiful Saturday at T.A.M.A.R. Today, we celebrate a significant achievement made possible through our partnership with Francisco Apartments. A client with three children experiencing homelessness was referred YESTERDAY and placed on our high-priority case load.

Due to their circumstances, the children have been out of school, which disrupts their education. We are pleased to share that we have successfully brokered housing for this family, and they are entering their new home TODAY.

We are grateful for the funding from Housing Forward, which enabled us to negotiate this lease. Their frontline approach now allows us to provide blow-up mattresses for this family until their new furniture from Furniture One arrives.

Residential empowerment is at the core of our care model, and we could not achieve this without the support of other frontline agencies.

We are grateful for a generous donation from Green Standards, which has provided office furniture for our three new hub locations:

-Pine Oak Apartments in Mesquite
-Good Haven Apartments in Dallas
-Magnolia Creek in Fort Worth.

With access to over 60 combined apartment units, we can offer immediate housing placement to justice-involved clients and individuals experiencing homelessness. On-site case management, behavioral health resources, and food pantries will enhance access to these communities.

In the month of November, our agency provided $7,500 in direct financial assistance to households transitioning out of homelessness, covering essential costs such as deposits and landlord fees. This was made possible through the generous support of Housing Forward.

We were also able to supply $4,120 in furniture through our partnership with Furniture One, ensuring families could enter their new homes with dignity, stability, and the basic items they need to thrive.

None of this impact would be possible without the continued support and collaboration of Housing Forward. Together, we are transforming lives and creating pathways to long-term housing stability.
