Truss repair & gutter repair:
We had a customer contact us, a tree had fallen on the corner of their house a while back. We decided to take on the project. We had decided to replace the facia and gutters in the front to make everything look better. After inspecting farther, we concluded the outside truss to be broken along with the plywood underneath. We also discovered a tree about 40 ft tall leaning toward the house. This became a major priority, as the tree would fall and hit the house and all the work we are working on, or even the vehicles in the driveway.
We took the tree down and were able to get insurance adjusters to approve certain numbers for us to move forward with the job. We scabbed a beam for structure to the plywood and installed a new piece of plywood, laid down our paper and shingled everything up nicely. We replaced the facia, flashing and gutters in the areas that were needed, and re-installed the downspouts and soffets.
Everything is structurally sound and will not need any repairs for several years or even decades.
