No child with mild autism needs to “be changed”
– that’s a given. Everyone is unique and valuable. But if we can help them live more comfortably in a neurotypical world, who wouldn’t want to?
That’s what an Electro-Equiscope technician found when they worked with a lad on the autism spectrum. So let’s backtrack a moment…
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental condition that affects communication, social interaction, and behavior.
In a different world this might be unimportant. But non-neurotypical people often encounter difficulties while navigating a mostly neurotypical world.
This was the case with a 7-year-old boy with mild autism. He experienced social, behavioral, and attention challenges in his daily life.
Mild autism is a term used to describe individuals on the autism spectrum who have relatively mild symptoms compared to those with severe autism, where it might include more rigidity and defiance, sensory processing issues, and repetitive behavior.
However, in mild autism, the child can become dysregulated by the challenges they face.
And, as we know, dysregulation in our energy systems affects our emotional and mental states. This, in turn, can affect our physical health and wellbeing.
So – without wanting to change a child’s unique personality, how can Equiscope therapy help alleviate some of those symptoms of mild autism?

The protocol included using a headband three to five times a week and systemic (bilateral, spinal) stimulation one to two times a week.
He experienced mild detox symptoms for two or three weeks. It seems the microcurrent detox helped alleviate some of his symptoms and led to immediate improvements in social awareness, ability to follow directions, and better communicating of his needs.
And over the course of three-and-a-half years, he continuously
improved academically,
became more sociable and less defiant,
developed his sense of humor, and
became more confident.
