I need to understand why Charlton Methodist fired an employee for testing positive for COVID because they would not test the employee after having an exposure at work. The employee went to an outside source for testing because she lives with others one whom previously had COVID so she is responsible for keeping them safe. They claimed they fired her because she didn't follow protocol of in house testing but refused to test her because she did not have a fever.
People are scared to go & get tested, the numbers keep rising. The employees can test at the facility but ONLY if they have a fever. A fever is not the only COVID symptom. The employee got a positive test from Care Now. Everyone else in the household tested negative but the employee. TEXAS HAS ONE OF THE HIGHEST COVID CASES BUT HERE WE GO FOLLOWING WHAT IS TOLD AND AN EMPLOYEE GETS FIRED. A FRONT LINE EMPLOYEE BECAUSE THEY DID NOT GET TESTED AT YOUR HOSPITAL BUT THEY WERE DENIED A TEST.
