Hima Bindu Jyothi (Jyothula), MD, FAAP
Dr. Hima is Board certified by American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She graduated from the esteemed Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati, India in 2007. Inspired by the resilience and innocence of young patients, she pursued residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, NJ. During her resid
ency she also spearheaded breastfeeding quality improvement project and developed special interest in it. Before relocating to DFW, she served at Covenant Health Plainview in various hospital settings, including the nursery, in-patient, and out-patient departments. In recognition of her excellence, she was consecutively honored with the Reader’s Choice Best Pediatrician award. While working there, she also served as Pediatric Committee Chairman. Apart from her work responsibilities, she finds joy in doing fun things with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, and practicing yoga. Dr. Hima lives with her husband and two children in Frisco and is proficient in English, Telugu and Hindi. A Message from Dr. Hima:
