The first time around, everyone had advice for the baby — what gear to buy, how to get sleep, what I “should” be doing. But no one talked about how I needed to prepare myself.

That’s why I created Nourished Postpartum: The Meal Planning Guide.

✨ 51 pages of recipes, tips, and healing wisdom
✨ 29 warming meals, drinks, and snacks
✨ Herbs + foods that support recovery

These aren’t just postpartum recipes — they’ve become staples in our home for over 6 years. Perfect for new moms, for gifting, or simply for cozy fall + winter meals.

Because healing after birth deserves more than a freezer full of lasagna.

💌 Comment “YES” if you want me to DM you the link as soon as it launches or tag a friend who needs this on her postpartum journey.

Did you know that eating ice-cold snacks like watermelon right after birth can actually slow down your healing?

In Ayurveda, postpartum is a time of vata imbalance—your body is already cold, light, and depleted. Chilled foods only add more of those qualities, leading to sluggish digestion, bloating, and slower recovery.

✨ The fix? Let fruit and snacks come to room temperature before eating. That simple pause supports your digestion, circulation, and warmth—exactly what your body needs to heal.

This is just one of the simple, healing food tips inside my Postpartum Meal Planning Guide (coming soon!). It’s packed with recipes, prep tips, and nourishing wisdom to make your recovery smoother and your meals easier.

I used to think being “rich” meant hustling hard, keeping a full calendar, having a spotless home, and always staying two steps ahead.

But over the years—through motherhood, marriage, entrepreneurship, and plenty of mistakes—I’ve learned that real richness looks very different.

Every season is sacred—even the loud, messy, overstimulating ones.

You don’t need to do more.
You don’t need to be more.
You just need to be.

And real talk? I still struggle with a lot of this.
I get tired, overstimulated, and worn down from having to be the creative, calm one.
But I’m still here—trying to be the best mom for my kids and the best version of myself.

That’s what rich really looks like to me. 💛

Birth itself isn’t always what leaves women feeling broken.
It’s being ignored.
It’s being rushed.
It’s being told, “You don’t know what’s best for your body.”
It’s being made to feel like a problem or a number—not a person.

Birth trauma is real—and it often has nothing to do with how a baby was born, and everything to do with how a woman was treated.

You deserved better.

If your birth experience still lives in your body, you’re not alone.
Let this be your reminder:
It’s never too late to start healing.

Share this with someone who needs to hear it.

Your healing matters.

You deserve to enter your next birth free from old weight.

If we don’t pause to process — those feelings can echo into the next experience.

Processing your birth is an act of self-love.
It helps you understand what felt empowering, what felt hard, and what you’d love to do differently next time.

It’s never too late to process your story! I’ve helped women in their later years process their birth from decades ago.

If you’d like, share below: Did you process your birth before another pregnancy? What helped you the most?

Save this for later, share with a friend who’s pregnant again.

Tallow is something that has been around for centuries, but in recent years, it’s trending. The market is flooding with different tallow vendors, but not all are created 🟰. If you’re currently using tallow, ask the ❓❓ to ensure you have a quality product.

🌿We always use glass or eco packaging for our products to ensure micro plastics don’t invade our handcrafted items.

Have you tried tallow yet? If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!

When my first son was born, I was fully prepared for birth, but I didn’t plan as well for the fourth trimester. Against the advice of my midwives and husband, I was up doing dishes, laundry, entertaining guests, etc. My body was taking longer to heal due to the amount of activities I was doing. I realized I had a passion to learn about all things related to pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, and I have yearned to be a doula ever since. I spent countless hours learning everything I could, and I ensured my postpartum journey would be different the second time around. I hired a doula, prepped more food for our family, spaced out family visits, and rested more. After experiencing first hand the difference a doula can make during the fourth trimester, I knew it was time to follow my passion and become certified as a postpartum doula.
