What a wonderful week it has been at Simpson Place! 🌸 Our amazing residents have been absolutely glowing with joy and laughter throughout their skilled week activities. From soothing hand massages that brought comfort and relaxation, to exciting rounds of bingo that had everyone cheering, the energy has been simply infectious!

The week was filled with gentle arm exercises that helped strengthen muscles while beautiful music played in the background, creating the perfect atmosphere for wellness and fun. Our creative residents also enjoyed making gorgeous flowers and engaging in stimulating word games that kept their minds sharp and spirits high.

But the absolute highlight had to be today's sweet surprise their meal of the month and- ice cream popsicles! 🍦 You should have seen their faces light up with pure delight! The "oohhs" and "ahhs" filled the room as they savored every delicious bite. Those sparkling eyes and genuine smiles reminded us exactly why we do what we do - creating moments of pure happiness and making dreams a little sweeter, one scoop at a time! ✨

What an incredible way to kick off Skilled Nursing Week ! 🎉 Our amazing residents showed such heartwarming Gratitude towards our dedicated nurses and staff who truly go above and beyond every single day.

The fun-filled activities brought so much joy and laughter! We started with the hilarious "fan the bag" challenge where residents used fans to blow bags off cups as quickly as possible - the competitive spirit was absolutely contagious! 💨

Next came the lightning-fast cup challenge, and wow, we discovered some seriously quick reflexes among our residents! The excitement continued with our clip challenge, testing who could attach the most clips in record time. The energy in the room was simply electric! ⚡

To wrap up this perfect day of celebration, everyone enjoyed delicious root beer floats together. These sweet moments of connection and appreciation remind us why we love what we do - creating meaningful experiences and honoring the incredible care our nursing staff provides every day. 🍺✨

What an incredible Friday it was ! 💐 We celebrated both Mother's Day and Nurse Week in the most heartwarming way possible.

Our amazing nurses started their day with delicious breakfast tacos and burritos, thanks to Charlie's generous contribution. There's nothing quite like good food to fuel our dedicated healthcare heroes! 🌯

The celebration continued as we honored all the wonderful mothers among our residents and staff with beautiful fresh flowers. 💐 We wanted to show our deep appreciation for the incredible labor of love that goes into raising children and shaping the next generation.

We believe in recognizing the special people who make our community so wonderful. From our hardworking nurses who provide exceptional care every single day, to the amazing mothers who have given so much of themselves to nurture and guide their families.

Thankful Thursday was absolutely magical! 💝 Our morning began with a fun A-Z game celebrating our incredible nurses, and their responses were both hilarious and heartwarming. The laughter filled the room as we discovered just how creative and witty our team truly is.

A special thank you to Abeliel for arranging delicious sandwiches and fresh fruit delivery from Three Oaks - such a thoughtful gesture that our nurses absolutely loved! 🥪🍎

But the real highlight was our Mother's Day social celebration. We took time to honor these amazing women . We shared precious memories about their own mothers and their journeys in motherhood. There were tears of joy, endless laughter, and plenty of delicious food that left everyone completely satisfied.

The residents that are mothers received beautiful butterfly gifts because that perfectly represents who they are - they bloom with such incredible beauty and grace every single day. 🦋 We ended the celebration with a hilarious diaper-changing contest to see who could dress a baby doll the fastest. The competitive spirit and giggles were contagious!

These remarkable women deserve all the appreciation in the world for their love and compassion. 💕

🎉 What an incredible Cinco de Mayo celebration ! Our residents started the day with an exciting number memory challenge that really put their minds to the test - and they absolutely crushed it!

The real highlight came at lunchtime when our amazing dietary team prepared authentic Chicken and Cheese Pupusas served alongside flavorful Mexican rice and fresh coleslaw. The aromas filled the entire facility and had everyone eagerly anticipating this special meal.

But the festivities didn't stop there! We wrapped up our celebration by making fresh guacamole 🥑 and zesty pineapple salsa from scratch. Watching everyone work together, sharing stories, and enjoying delicious food while surrounded by friends made this day truly special.

Mid-week magic happened at Simpson Place yesterday! 🎉 Our wonderful residents were absolutely thrilled when we switched up our usual bingo routine with something extra special - scratch-off tickets! You could see the excitement in their eyes as they got ready to try their luck and hopefully strike it big.

The energy in the room was absolutely contagious! Whether they were long-term residents or just staying with us temporarily, every single face lit up with pure joy and anticipation. There's something truly magical about bringing unexpected moments of fun and excitement into daily routines.
