No one likes to talk about colorectal cancer. But if you’re 45 or older, experts recommend that you get regular screenings. Start with these screening guidelines from Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare – our larger health network.
Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in the United States (excluding skin cancers), according to the American Cancer Society. In its early stages, colorectal cancer often has no symptoms – that’s why screening is so important. Talk to your doctor about which screening test is right for you.

Why did readers of DFWChild Magazine choose three Medical City Healthcare hospitals as Best Hospital to Have a Baby in 2023? Nicole and husband Devon are grateful for the skilled, compassionate physician and staff who cared for them.
“We were only here, eight days, nine days, and it felt like we got so close with them so fast,” Nicole says. “It was the best experience for the worst experience of our life.”
