Does anyone else have a specific location they stick with?

Isn’t it crazy how when we’re used to something, like watching a sandwich be made, that when we can’t see it, it causes anxiety? In reality, the majority of the restaurants we got to, we don’t get to watch the assembly. Anxiety IS silly, but real! I appreciate the NIMA sensor for this exact reason.

B-12 deficiency is common at diagnosis, but can happen at anytime. Make sure you know the signs, and how to act! Always consult your doctor or dietitian before making changes to your diet.

Some things I want you to know:

-Stomach acid is CRUCIAL to improving your numbers because it helps release intrinsic factor which has to bind to the b-12 to be absorbed. Many people who are struggling to improve their b-12 numbers, are missing this piece of info.

-Some other items that have b-12 are: fortified milks, greek yogurt, cheese, nutritional yeast, dark meat chicken or turkey, tuna, liver, lamb, sardines & more.

Are you a Chipotle Lover or hater?

I’m not going to lie, I’m usually at hater, but I tried the Chicken Al Pastor a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. I need to grab it again before it goes away. The only reason I’m usually a hater is I feel like I can make the same items at home.

It can be scary seeing wheat anywhere on a package when you’re gluten-free, but I hope this post helped clear up some confusion. Gluten-free wheat starch is gluten-free and celiac-safe!

While gluten-free wheat starch is produced to be under the FDA’s threshold, we still want to see certification to verify the purity of the ingredient.

REMEMBER: Celiac safe, but NOT safe for a wheat allergy.

Just because something is safe doesn’t mean everyone is comfortable eating it. Always do what’s best for you!
