Holding to a transformative framework of counseling, CBC staff offers a collaborative work of the heart through professional care and deep personal concern. We walk with people on a journey of beauty and brokenness, towards a life of emotional strength, hope, and a heart that longs for, and rests in, God. In a word, a place of deep redemption and personal growth. We are aware that life includes many troubling events and relationships. Struggle is common to people who face life honestly. Often, our outer lives are not a true reflection of our inner world. Henri Nouwen says it well,

"You so much want to heal yourself, fight your temptations, and stay in control. So stop wandering around. Come home and trust that God will bring you what you need. Home is where you are truly safe. When you come home and stay home, you will find the love that will bring rest to your heart."
