🚀 Debbie, who hails from Delaware, Ohio, stood out for her compassionate and thoughtful service -- learning American Sign Language skills to communicate with her deaf client.

✔️ Home Instead has contributed $50,000 to Sourcepoint in Debbie’s honor. Her local program will also receive a financial award to further help highlight the program and support more aging adults.

Still riding the high from last week’s ALZ Spirit Week! For five days, HQ employees participated in various Alzheimer's and brain health activities – learning new ways to bring awareness to cognitive issues, and finding tips to better ourselves. Here's a few highlights from the week:
💻 Each day we hosted a virtual education session to learn about various aspects of dementia and how to keep our own brains healthy.
💜 Across the country and in our virtual meetings we wore purple, the color of Alzheimer's awareness.
🧠 There was a relaxing virtual mediation session to help us tune out everything and focus on mindfulness, which is great for our brains!
👟 This week kicked off our participation in the Alzheimer's Association® Walk to End Alzheimer's across the country.

A large study showed that older adults with a higher risk of dementia may be able to reduce their cognitive decline risk by almost 50 percent by using hearing aids.
