Sofia loves โher Dr. Mitchellโโค๏ธ
My children, Jack and Kaitlyn, met their new pediatrician yesterday!
Dr. Isha Mannering is ๐๐.
Jack is 4'2". One foot shorter than me at 8.
I'm so grateful that Dr. Mannering and I met. We are in a local DFW doctor group together, and the group is full of amazing women physicians. That's how I met my Internist, Dr. Boram Kim Park. It is great to have another advocate for my children who also understands and could clearly see our shared hypermobility syndrome. Preventative medicine is my passion for many reasons and Dr. Mannering shares in this. She thought of getting them started with pediatric cardiology, rheumatology, and ophthalmology. All areas of care that are affected by hypermobility syndrome. The goal is quality of life and longevity, and I pray that my journey and my advocacy will have lifelong benefits for the two people that I love more than life itself. I feel so full of gratitude at this point in my journey.

Do you guys offer pediatrician on call? I took my daughter in yesterday and she seems to have an allergic reaction.
I'd like to share a rather unusual, free, parenting education resource...bumper stickers! Advancing Parenting, a Camarillo CA nonprofit, produces parenting tips bumper stickers and makes them available at no cost to businesses, organizations, clinics, schools, and individuals. There are fifty-one in a set and each bumper sticker communicates a parenting behavior or practice generally recognized as supporting the healthy development of children. Just one will be read thousands of times!
Bumper stickers are a unique and powerful way to educate everyone about parenting. At stoplights drivers and passengers point, smile, and nod. Conversations begin and often a phone is used to take a photo of the sticker right at the stoplight. Presumably, they are being shared on social media. It's wonderful to see!
Sets of the stickers can be put in holders and placed on counters and tables so folks can select one or more for their cars. Visit
www.advancingparenting.org to order this free resource. Use a computer...our website is not optimized for phones. Please share.
Hello! Wondering if you have any advice the parents of the "only child" going through isolation. My daughter is almost 3yo and I know she is supposed to be transitioning out of parallel play into more social/interactive play. Should we be concerned with developmental delays??
Thanks ๐

We love partnering with Forest Lane Pediatrics to help support children and their families in the greater DFW area! Ask us about our community partnerships and how we invest in North Texas families! Thank you, Forest Lane Pediatrics, for the opportunity to partner with you!! ๐๐ต๐ถ
Thank you for a fun night at the game! Needless to say, Cody enjoyed herself ๐
So thankful for our pediatrician Dr. Kravitz! During our 18 month visit with her she recommended the book โmaking the terrible twos terrificโ by John Rosemond, particularly the potty training sections, and we are so grateful she did! We started potty training immediately and our son was completely potty trained after about one month of following the program (including at naps and through the night)! Weโre so impressed with Dr. Kravitz and all of her suggestions/ recommendations for our kids!
