📣 Applications are open for Abide’s Black Student Midwife Scholarship 🤎
We’re investing in the next generation of Black midwives and advancing maternal health equity in Texas! ✨

What it is: 🎓 $1,000 scholarship for a Certified Professional Midwifery student
Use of funds: tuition, books, NARM PEP phases, CPM exam fees, or Texas licensure fees

To apply, you MUST: identify as Black or African American, live in Texas, be a CPM student in good standing, and plan to become licensed in Texas.

Key dates: Apply by September 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM CST

📩 Awardee will be notified on October 24, 2025 and honored at Roots of Hope on November 1, 2025.

📚 Intro to Childbirth: A confidence-building class covering the stages of labor, comfort techniques, partner roles, birth preferences, and what to expect on delivery day.
