For generations, Black families have created systems of care when systems failed them.

Abide continues that legacy. Care that is relationship-based, respectful, and rooted in dignity. Not rushed. Not dismissed. Not overlooked.

Just care the way it should have always been.

Happy Monday 🤍
Honoring the mamas before us, the mamas today, and the mamas to come.
Birth is our living legacy.

I often get thanked for the work Abide does, but the truth is this care is built by a community.

Your support reaches families in ways you may never see — and that matters more than I can say.

Happy Valentine’s Day, and thank you for sharing your care with us.

Our Annual Report is here! In 2025, Abide grew—not just in numbers, but in reach, trust, and impact.

From expanding midwifery-led care across North Texas to maintaining birth outcomes that outperform county and national averages, 2025 affirmed what we’ve always known: relationship-based, culturally responsive care saves lives.

Behind every number is a person who trusted us with their care. A family that felt seen, heard, and supported. A community that continues to show up for one another.

We’re proud of what we’ve built together and deeply grateful to everyone who made this work possible.

Our Annual Report is a reflection of community power. We invite you to read it and celebrate this work with us. The report can be found here: https://heyzine.com/flip-book/927322e8d9.html
