We are excited to offer Inclusive Pathways to College Readiness, a 4-day college readiness experience designed for students ages 14–21 with disabilities who are interested in exploring higher education opportunities. Participants will have the opportunity to experience campus life, learn about college resources and accommodations, build independent living skills, develop self-advocacy skills, connect with peers, and receive support from trained mentors and faculty throughout the program.

A parent education session will also be offered to discuss changes after high school, key information to know before the transition, and various inclusive higher education and post-secondary options available to students and families.

Consider making a career change and becoming an occupational therapist!

If you have an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree you can earn you Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) in three years in our unique hybrid weekend program.

Students can continue to work full-time or maintain their current family roles while pursing one of the fastest growing degrees in healthcare.

Join us on June 2nd for a virtual open house to learn more about the program and stay turned all summer for highlights and detailed information about the MU Weekend College experience!

Looking for flowers for a graduate who is walking across the stage this weekend? Look no further!

The MUOT Department is hosting a graduation flower sale prior to both the graduate and undergraduate ceremonies outside the Anderson Center.

Flower bouquets are $25 each and we have a limited number, so first come first serve. Cash and Venmo accepted (no presale). Profits benefit the ELOTD capstones.

Congratulations to 6 of our upcoming post professional OTD graduates who will be presenting their capstones tomorrow at 4PM at the beginning of our Scholarly Celebration! Take a moment to peruse the innovative and impactful topics these individuals taken a deep dive into to impact the practice of occupational therapy!

Ready to transition from clinician to faculty?
Misericordia University’s Occupational Therapy Department has the course for you.

Join our Post‑Professional Doctoral course this summer:
🎓 Onboarding: Transition to Academia!

Learn evidence‑based strategies for becoming a successful faculty member, including:

Syllabus design
Grading practices
Responding to student feedback
Participating in a mock faculty interview
Effective and active teaching and learning strategies
Andragogy and core educational theories
The course also covers university and department policies, as well as managing student professionalism.

You’ll be paired with a faculty mentor from across the country for an inside look at academic life—an invaluable, résumé‑building experience.

Hurry as the class starts May 18 with 6 synchronous, online classes scheduled for Monday evenings.
