Two women from two different places suffered from the same condition -- until they found relief here at UT Southwestern.

Philippe Zimmern, M.D., at UT Southwestern Medical Center has helped many women break free from the pain caused by chronic or recurrent urinary tract infections with the use of electrofulguration, a potential alternative to antibiotic treatment.

Why did you choose an Endourology fellowship? Urology has always been a field that embraces and advances new technologies and techniques. I wanted to be a part of that tradition and felt there is no better way to do that than a robotics and minimally invasive surgery fellowship.

What are you looking forward to accomplishing at UTSW? I am looking forward to learning from world leaders in my field to make me the best possible surgeon.
