The “most wonderful time of the year” can easily take a turn in the wrong direction into the most stressful time of the year for many of us. Juggling family gatherings, office events, friends’ parties, children’s needs, gift purchases, extra cooking and overeating can all trigger emotions and stress that are hard on our bodies and our mental and emotional health.

We know how terrible that time of the month can be - especially if you're stuck quarantining. Here are a few ideas to relieve menstrual pain with things you should already have at home!

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to educate and provide practical steps to dealing with mental health. Starting with anxiety, here are a few simple ways to calm your body down and stay grounded when anxiety is high. However, it is important to remember this is just a start and more serious issues may need medical attention.

October is breast cancer awareness month. As a woman, it is especially important to examine your breasts regularly to prevent and detect breast cancer early. In addition to seeing your doctor regularly, self-diagnosis could save your life!

Thank You!

October is mental health awareness month. Each year, millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental health condition. Mental illness can affect anyone directly or indirectly through family, friends, or coworkers. It's so important to check up on those around you to make sure they are doing okay. Just a simple "how are you doing," goes much further than you think - and can make someone feel loved and seen.

We're celebrating one year of The Source! Whether you're a patient or supporter of our organization, we're so grateful that you've joined us in our mission to empower women with better choices. It's been an absolute honor getting to care for the women of Texas through support, tangible assistance, and quality healthcare. We're looking forward to many more years of service and care for women within our local communities.

Happy Friday! Wise words for all girls - your opinion is unique and important. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

There is a loftier ambition than merely to stand high in the world. It is to stoop down and lift mankind a little higher.

Calling all the over-thinkers! Take a deep breath and remember you are right where you need to be and everything will fall into place at the right time.

Rise above the storm and you will find the sunshine.
~Mario Fernandez
