The Dr. Bob Smith Health Center is an on-campus resource for students to be evaluated by health professionals for mental, physical, or emotional issues. The medical clinic is staffed by physicians and registered nurses to aid in diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury. Medical services include consultations with physicians for acute illness or routine health maintenance, minor surgery, care of injuries, laboratory exams, X-rays, immunizations, and continuation of treatments such as allergy injections. Counseling services for various concerns are provided by psychiatrists and psychologists in the Health Center. Group therapy is also offered each academic year. The Health Center has an on-site pharmacy to fill prescriptions written by physicians at the health center and off-campus health care providers. Additionally, the Health Education Office serves as a resource for health information on campus.
