Earlier this month, ATX went down to Houston to connect with some incredible outpatient providers! While we proudly offer in-person sessions in both Georgetown and Austin, we also serve clients virtually across Texas and in several other states. Making connections with other providers who are equally passionate about high-quality care helps us offer stronger, more informed referrals to our clients—no matter where they’re located.

✨ Exciting News ✨
We are thrilled to share that our owner, Maggie Stenson MCN, RD, LD, CEDS-C, has been appointed as the Education Chair for Central Texas Eating Disorder Specialists (CTEDS) for the 2025 to 2026 term! 🎉

CTEDS is a prominent network of clinicians, therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals who work together to advance the knowledge, care, and support of individuals affected by eating disorders.

In this new role, Maggie will be working to create educational opportunities, organize workshops, and facilitate continued learning for the amazing community of eating disorder specialists in our region.

💡 The goal is to provide ongoing support and knowledge to help us all better serve those in recovery.

Our Owner, Maggie Stenson MCN, RD, LD, CEDC-S, will be presenting “The ARFID Shift” to the Central Texas Eating Disorder Specialists (CTEDS) October Education Event on Friday, October 11th from 9:00 to 10:30am.
 
CTEDS is a non-profit organization whose mission is to “strive to cultivate greater safety for marginalized individuals while also creating a brave space for our members to learn and grow” by providing education, support groups, networking opportunities, research opportunities and so much more!
 
We are so honored to be a part of this organization and to provide an opportunity for education around treating ARFID. Maggie is passionate about providing individualized and compassionate care for clients with ARFID and sharing her knowledge with other providers to be able to do the same!

We have an exciting announcement! We’re expanding our services to include a variety of meal support options! If you are currently seeing an outpatient team and are needing additional accountability at meal or snack time, we are here to help!

🗓️ We provide individual meal support virtually on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays - and in-person meal support on Thursdays at our Austin office location.

With 8 years of experience working with a variety of eating disorders at all levels of care, Maggie is highly skilled at providing ‘in the moment’ support and emotional processing around food struggles.

💻 Starting October 2nd, we will also be providing weekly virtual group meal support for adults on Wednesday nights at 6pm for $50 per group. This is a great way to get support and accountability and connect with others in the recovery process!
