Creating Fun in What We Do — Together!

At Methodist Rehab, we believe teamwork isn’t just something that happens inside our hospital — it’s something we build every day by creating fun in what we do together.

Our recent Pickleball League End of Season Event was the perfect example! Laughter, friendly competition, high-fives, and plenty of team spirit reminded us that strong teams are built through connection.

A big congratulations to our winter tournament winners:
🥇 Mark Turner (Pharmacist) – Gold
🥈 Erin Robinson (COTA) – Silver
🥉 Alexis Gomez (PT) – Bronze

Events like these strengthen our relationships, boost morale, and remind us why we love being part of this team. When we invest in fun, we invest in each other — and that makes us even better for the patients and communities we serve.

Here’s to teamwork, wellness, and a little healthy competition!

This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating the perfect trio that helps hearts heal and lives grow stronger — Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Therapy (ST), and Physical Therapy (PT).

At Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital, our therapists work hand-in-hand to help patients regain independence, rebuild confidence, and rediscover the activities they love. Because when compassionate care meets teamwork, it’s truly the perfect match.

Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us at Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital!

We are especially proud of our Junior Volunteer Program for creating a meaningful and educational bulletin board in recognition of Black History Month. When Harry was admitted to Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital, he faced significant functional and cognitive challenges, requiring total assistance for transfers and all self-care activities.
From day one, Harry was supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team working toward one shared goal: his recovery. Through consistent participation in coordinated, patient-centered care Harry made remarkable progress.
By discharge, Harry achieved independence in all self-care tasks and was able to ambulate independently. His physical recovery, cognitive gains, and mobility exceeded established goals—allowing him to safely return home and function independently.
We are incredibly proud of Harry’s dedication and the interdisciplinary teamwork that supported his success, and we look forward to his continued recovery journey!
