*Clarification of Notice Regarding Participation in UnitedHealth Medicare Advantage Plan*

Some of you may have received a letter addressed “From the desk of Prabha Mohan, M.D.” regarding a change in “UnitedHealth Medicare Advantage plan benefits.” Many of you have called requesting clarification, so please see the facts below for more information.

1) First and foremost, Dr. Mohan will continue to be an in-network provider with UnitedHealth’s Medicare Advantage Plan. There is no need to change your insurance because of this notice.

2) The letter was not sent from our office; it was sent from UT Southwestern Medical Center and Texas Health Resources.

3) UnitedHealth’s Medicare Advantage benefits are undergoing a routine review at this time for 2021.

4) If there are any changes to our status in the future, we will inform you through our website, page, and/or letter from our office.

5) If you have any questions, please give us a call at 972.932.2000.
