Vascular Lasers

For treatment of veins on the face and overall facial redness, Surface Clinical uses the Aura laser (525nm) and the IPL (Intense Pulsed Light or FotoFacial™). The red facial veins are commonly called "broken capillaries". General facial redness and Rosacea are also treated with these same lasers. Prescription creams can be recommended in conjunction with the laser treatments.

Fraxel Restore Dual

Fraxel is a "fractional" skin resurfacing laser which delivers patterned cores of heat ("microthermal zones") into the dermis. Deep collagen is stimulated to helps relace the natural loss of collaen with aging. "Fractionation" allows for rapid healing and minimal downtime. The Dual Wavelength targets superficial treatment of sun damage and pigment spots as well as textural irregularities. The restore Dual Wavelength combines both is 1550nm Erbium and 1927nm Thulium fiber lasers.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal is the best treatment option for eliminating unwanted hair. Due to hair follicles being in different cycles of growth, laser hair removal requires multiple treatments. It works best on coarse dark hair. Surface Clinical has an Elite Alexandrite (755) with a ND:YAG (1064), and Lumenis Diode laser.

IPL (Intense Pulse Light)

IPL (Intense Pulse Light), also called FotoFacial™, is a broad spectrum light used to treat a variety of conditions. It is commonly used to treat general sun damage, brown pigment, broken capillaries, and symptoms of Rosacea. For the best results, a series of treatments is usually recommended.

Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels are an effective way to correct and stimulate skin surface. Depending on your desired correction, peels are available in various strengths and mixtures. Surface Clinical offers several new micronized peels from Skin Medica, Skin Ceuticals and Obagi. "The gold standard" peels, Jessners and TCA (Trichloric Acid), continue to be a recommended treatment choices, as well.
