Edit Vari (Laboratory Manager)
With a major difference from laboratory education in the United States, Edit has studied extensively beginning with her Bachelor’s degree in Budapest. Followed by practical dental technician training in Germany and Switzerland where she achieved her base degree. With her strong ambition, she completed another 2 years of a master’s degree in order to open her own business (a requirement to own a dental laboratory in Europe). During her time in Dental Technology College, she was selected to represent an elite group of only 10 technicians, chosen by their skills and abilities to do exceptional work. Furthermore, after her master’s degree, she was selected by a Swiss international company called Litep AG who gave her a position to continue developing her talent. From there, she fulfilled training at Mit Tanaka Japanese courses in porcelain application technique. Moving to the United States in 1989, Edit became captivated by the American culture. She met her husband in New York City, so she moved to work in the city in another dental laboratory. Egon Press (CEO)
From an early age, Egon has been very very creative and talented with his hands. Egon has such a talent that was passed to him from his father, an Olympic Athlete who eventually opened his own dental practice in Scarsdale, NY. Egon’s father graduated from NYU’s school of dentistry, which eventually inspired Egon to put his talent and skill with his hands to use. Egon worked and trained with his father for many years to eventually earn the invitation of implantology pioneer, Dr. Leonard Linkov to work at his sole laboratory as an exclusive laboratory technician. Egon began working together in Dr. Linkov’s laboratory for 5-6 years.
