We are thrilled to introduce, Julianne Cantwell, to our practice! She is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A). Julianne is committed to empowering clients as they deal with concerns such as self-esteem, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, spirituality, life transitions, fertility and perinatal concerns, and anxiety. She also enjoys working with young couples preparing for marriage.
Julianne completed her Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Educational Administration in Higher Education from Texas A&M University. She is a member of the Alpha Chi and Chi Sigma Iota academic honor societies and the Texas Counseling Association. Before working as a therapist, Julianne worked in student affairs at the university level, worked in private and public education, completed college courses in art and law, and spent time as a stay-at-home mom. She also spent many years volunteering in education and with one of her university alumni organizations.
The Dallas area has been Julianne’s home since young-adulthood, and she has been married to her husband for 30 years. Her two adult sons, daughter-in-law, and two dogs, Winston and Ollie, bring her some of her greatest pleasures in life. She also enjoys traveling to interesting places, spending time outdoors, and immersing herself in art, books, and music.
Julianne knows life may feel overwhelming, but reassures her clients there is nothing too difficult to face together. Whatever your need, Julianne hopes to provide you with the opportunity for increased growth, connection, and restoration.
