Dear Rutherford Clients,

We wanted to take this time and remind everyone to please make reservations if you are planning to board your pet during the Thanksgiving Holiday. Our most recent holidays have found us at capacity for boarding so to avoid being put on a waiting list or having to pay a non-reservation fee please make reservations ASAP before all boarding spaces are filled. Also, to better serve our boarders we will not be able to offer any daycare or bathing services starting November 25th through December 1st. Our baths are only reserved for our boarders during this time.

Our pet costume contest started today! Bring your pet in for daycare to be entered into our Costume Contest. We will be doing Halloween pictures all week. Winner will be announced this Friday!

Today we continue our celebration of National Veterinary Technician week by putting the spotlight on our team of kennel technicians. This amazing group of individuals are the ones that work tirelessly to make sure our boarders and daycare pets have a positive experience while they are with us. Our kennel technicians also provide assistance to our technicians and doctors when needed. THANK YOU!!

Today we continue our celebration of National Veterinary Technician week by putting the spotlight on Banesa Saucedo. Banesa started with us as a CSR in November of 2022. She was accepted into the Veterinary Technology program at Cedar Valley College in June of 2023. She joined our technician team in the fall of 2024. Banesa loves being a technician and applying what she has learned in school to help her be the best technician she can be. When she’s not busy being a technician, some of the things Banesa loves doing are watching movies, reading books, playing the violin and spending time with her dog Oakley. Happy Vet Tech Week Banesa!

Today we are continuing our celebration of National Veterinary Technician Week by putting the spotlight on Berenice Flores. Berenice has been with our hospital since January of 2023. Berenice moved back to Texas from Colorado after completing her degree in Veterinary Technology in September of 2022. Berenice also served 3 years in the United States Army before embarking on a career as a veterinary technician. When she is not busy being a technician Berenice loves taking pictures, collecting Pokémon cards and collecting animation type figurines. Happy Vet Tech Week Berenice!

Today as we continue our celebration of National Veterinary Technician Week we’d like to put the spotlight on Alexis Delgado. Alexis started with our hospital in December of 2014. He started out as a kennel technician with us and joined our technician team in February of 2017. Alexis is an excellent teacher for our newer staff members. He is an amazing team player. When he’s not busy being a technician some of the things Alexis loves doing is cooking, dancing, sports and watching movies. Happy Vet Tech Week Alexis!
