Parkland Health Foundation and Parkland nurses recently gathered to honor and thank our incredible partners at Mommies Enduring Neonatal Death (MEND). Through their generosity, Parkland now has a Caring Cradle, which allows grieving families precious time to spend with their infant while honoring their memory.

We are deeply grateful for MEND’s dedication to providing comfort, hope, and healing for families across Dallas County.

Meet Alex, our college summer intern working in prospect research! Alex applied to this internship to gain experience and knowledge working in a healthcare environment. She is interested in learning about what goes on behind the scenes in healthcare to carry out its mission. Alex is going into her senior year at Spelman College where she is studying health science. When she isn't at work, Alex likes to travel, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends.
