Dr Hechanova and his team are VBAC SUPPORTIVE, will PIT VBACs if needed, Spinning Babies friendly, will do BREECH delivery, will take LATE TRANSFERS, DOULA friendly (actually would like to meet you and discuss client birth plans and collaborate), take MEDICAID, low C-section rate, takes a minimal amount of patients per day and really spend time with you, will allow dad to help catch baby, is open to birth plans, will allow pregnancy past 40 weeks and more.

All of the Drs practice the same and carry the same beliefs. Won't rush to do a C-section because they need to get home. Won't rush to intervention unless truly necessary.

I could go on and on 😍

When considering ways to get labor started, consider having s*x with or**sm.
It is known to help get labor going if the body is ready.
But just like induction of labor with medication and drugs, if the body isn't ready, it will not work.
** Please note this is not medical advice and all things don't work for all people, but it is a natural way to help get things going, and no harm in trying unless contraindicated by your provider or other health factors are in play. ☺️☺️☺️

Did you know this?
Studies show women of size are more likely to receive:
Contemptuous, patronizing, and disrespectful treatment;
Just because a person is heavier, does not automatically equate to unhealthier.
Bias and judgement are common for black and brown women when it comes to healthcare, by the same Dr's we are supposed to entrust with our care.
Big Beautiful Women deserve the same respect, treatment, and care as any other woman.

TRIGGER WARNING ...........
According to the lawsuit, the delivery took a tragic turn as the baby became stuck during labor. Allegedly, Dr. St. Julian failed to promptly seek assistance and instead exerted an excessive amount of force in an attempt to deliver the baby naturally. The prolonged delay in taking decisive action resulted in catastrophic consequences.
It took roughly three hours for Dr. St. Julian to finally opt for a cesarean section, by which time the baby's heartbeat had ceased. The surgical procedure removed the baby's legs and body, while the head was delivered through vaginal means. The lawsuit emphasizes that the parents' plea for a C-section, which could have potentially saved the baby's life, was denied.
The tragic incident has raised concerns about racial disparities in maternal and infant mortality rates, as the parents' attorneys highlight the higher risks faced by Black women during childbirth.
The lawsuit also accuses Southern Regional Medical Center staff of attempting to conceal the grim reality of the situation by discouraging an autopsy, pushing for cremation, and manipulating the baby's body to create a deceptive appearance.
The grieving parents seek justice for their baby's untimely death, alleging gross negligence, fraud, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit targets both Dr. Tracey St. Julian and Southern Regional Medical Center and calls for unspecified punitive damages.
We hope to keep our community up to date as we fight for justice for this young black family.

😱 Did you know that new research suggests that giving the fever reduction drug Tylenol after receiving vaccines is actually NOT good 😱

- It has been linked to reduced immunity making the vaccine less effective.

- Lower rates of protective antibodies.

- It is not known if the effects are the same for adults receiving vaccines.

Maybe look at other ways to reduce discomfort in children receiving vaccines.
