Healing rarely happens in one dramatic moment.
It unfolds quietly, in subtle and surprising ways,
when your nervous system finally feels safe enough to let go.
You might notice:
• Crying without a clear reason
• Old memories rising unexpectedly
• Deep exhaustion, even when you rest
• Sudden waves of anger or sadness
• A stronger pull toward solitude or nature
• Tightness in the chest, throat, or belly
• Shaking, trembling, or frequent yawning
• A sense of heaviness or tension in the body
• Less tolerance for things that once felt “normal”
• Feeling safe enough to fall apart a little
This isn’t regression.
It’s regulation.
It’s your body whispering: I don’t have to stay in survival anymore.
Trauma doesn’t only live in the mind,
it lives in the body, in patterns, and in protective responses.
And when safety returns to the body,
the deepest healing can begin.
If you’re in a season of healing and release, I see you.
You’re not alone 🤍
