let’s look at the reason why you feel guilty for setting boundaries. it’s really just the inverse relationship to what you’ve learned about abandoning yourself. the guilt you feel is simply a reaction to doing something different— not that you are doing anything wrong. read that again.

as someone who grew up in a service oriented household & who cares *deeply* for people, this has always been a work in progress for me. but hey, can i celebrate I’ve felt next to zero guilt about showing up on here less & less for y’all? i haven’t had the energy, time, or interest. IYKYK. double-tap if you feel me.

p.s. if you need boundaries with social media & live here in CO, I’m always happy to share my favorite hikes with you in the interest of getting you off your phone. 🥾🏔️

It’s been a minute. I figured since I have so much to say & nothing at all at the same time, I’d rather re-introduce myself & make fun of myself while doing it. 🙃

Denver/CO peeps- any other cliches I’m missing? 😉

May your eyes & heart be open to acknowledging the light you carry within, the goodness that still exists in others, and the unconditional love & healing available to you. None of this has to be earned. No part of you has to change yourself in order to receive. It’s a gift with your name written all over it. 🎁🫶❤️✨

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays. 🎄

With love, always 🤍

Preparing to debrief all the amygdala hijacks next week… 🫠😜

Shoutout to all my other fellow therapists that are doing the supportive prep work with clients around family, food, the state of the country & everything in between. Are we ready for a long nap yet?!

And still we rise… I will no longer remain silent. 💪🏽

The biggest lie founded in fear that you’ve been sold is this: you must avoid being lazy at all costs.

Remember friends, our energy fluctuates just like the seasons change & while I can appreciate physics & Newton’s first law of motion, you are a human being not a physics principle.

If you are in a season of healing, this will also challenge you but resting more is precisely the medicine you need. 🤍

Repost from

When rest is calling and yet a part of our brain says we’re “being lazy”, I wonder if there’s another possibility?

When the fatigue rolls in, when the yearn to just lay on the floor emerges, when the call to slow down rises in, when the lack of motivation has you wondering what’s wrong with you - can you pause and ask “what might my body be communicating here?”

Our society primes our thinking brain to disconnect from our physiology. Through labels and assumptions of what our sensory experience means, we learn to associate experiences in our body with “good” vs “ bad” “acceptable” vs “unacceptable”

But what if the meaning that’s been given to our bodily experience was put on the shelf for a moment? What if the criticism that we learned to absorb was in the other room for just now - what would your body actually be experiencing?

Maybe it’s not laziness - maybe it’s real exhaustion. Maybe it’s not laziness - maybe it’s a real collapse in your nervous system
Maybe it’s not laziness - maybe it’s your human body needing rest
Maybe it’s not laziness - maybe it’s a cry for a change from the urgency that you’ve had to keep up with your whole life.

Maybe, we could ask our body “what is true for me here?”

Giving space for our body to exist even when our mind has its theories, is how we expand our capacity for feeling and following our system. And by meeting our body where it’s at (whether that’s in the exhaustion or in the anxiety) we expand our capacity to move past the experience and find our way back to presence and connection 🤍

worry less how you look doing these practices & focus more on how you feel in mind + body after, kk? if we are emotionally constrained, it’s much like our digestive track when constipated - painful & not pleasant long-term. 😬

emotions = energy in •MOTION•

As always, nature is the best guide on our healing journey.🍂

This fall season, nature reminds us that our bodies also crave letting go—releasing the tension and emotions that have built up as excess survival energy. By doing so, we restore balance and create space for healing and renewal.

s/o to for filming & sharing

1️⃣ Heel Drops and Shakes
Like trees shedding their leaves, let your heels drop to the earth and shake off the excess stress. This simple movement stimulates your parasympathetic nervous system and helps release stored tension by mimicking the body’s natural way of discharging stress.

2️⃣ Infinity Arms
Move your arms in wide, fluid circles, like branches swaying in the autumn breeze. This rhythmic, bilateral motion stimulates the vagus nerve and parasympathetic nervous system, helping you regulate emotions, feel safe, comforted, and calm.

3️⃣ Throw Aways
Just as the wind scatters seeds, lift and drop your arms, swinging them to release lingering emotions. This dynamic motion helps release built-up muscular tension and discharge pent-up energy in a safe, controlled way.

Whenever we feel particularly activated and overwhelmed with distressing emotions like anxiety (7/10+), we can try working with the energy to move through it, rather than wishing it away or rationalizing it. After practicing any of these for just a few minutes, and once you’ve settled down (6/10 or less), you’ve created enough space between you and the emotion. With more control over your experience, you can then approach the part of you carrying the anxiety and ask what it wants to tell you.

EXCITING NEWS + PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY MISSION OF HELPING OTHERS FEEL WORTHY OF LOVE & BELONGING 🤍🙏🏼

I submitted this proposal last minute not holding my breath that anything would transpire because of the short turn-around time. Welp, I’ve been accepted & I need your help now! Pretty please.

If you have less than 5 minutes to answer a survey, I’ll DM or email you the link, or you can pop up to my stories for the next 24 hrs. No group or psychedelic experiences needed to answer the survey.

TIA for any support! I know this world is a better place when we come together. 🤍🌎
