Functional Medicine and Ayurveda aren’t necessarily competing, and they seek the same goal - lasting health, but they do look at the body through different lenses.

When I lead retreats, I watch my students drop into a space of presence, their body language shifts from rigidity to softness and they remember what it feels like to truly rest.

I built our studio with that same intention. I wanted a place where you could step away from the noise of the day, connect with your breath, and feel your whole nervous system soften. A place to pause, find stillness, and reflect, even if it’s just for an hour.

More than ever, with all the noise in the world, finding a community where you can also be deeply in touch with yourself is essential. Our yoga classes invite you into a space of spiritual healing, a place where the chatter quiets enough for the challenges of daily life to feel easier to navigate.

I’ll be honest, creating and maintaining a yoga studio in this current economic climate is not easy, even one of our intimate size. But after every class I teach, as I watch the students begin to leave, I noticed that same “post retreat” look and this is what keeps me motivated to keep the doors open. 🤲🏼

This candlelit class is a slow, grounding experience that blends restorative yoga, energy healing, and vibrational sound therapy to support deep rest and energetic balance as you begin your week. 

💆🏼‍♀️You’ll be guided through 5–6 fully supported poses, allowing your body to soften and your nervous system to unwind.

🕯️Throughout class, you’ll receive intuitive energy work (Reiki and/or Channeled Light Healing), as well as optional crystals and essential oils to enhance your experience.

🎧Healing instruments and crystal alchemy bowls are woven in to create a multi-sensory journey, ending with a soothing mini sound bath to harmonize the energy centers.

I know it can be tempting to isolate or withdraw during this phase of life.

There’s a lot of change, physical shifts, and uncertainty occurring.

But Ayurveda teaches us something beautiful: The Vata stage of life is wise and powerful. ✨

You’ve gathered decades of insight, experience, and inner knowing. Now, you’re invited to step into a new role. You get to step back from doing so much, and instead, play the role of guide and mentor. 🦉

And the reality is that our society needs you out in your community sharing your wisdom.
