Isenberg Center for Immigration Empowerment (ICIE) was found by Dallas businessman Ralph Isenberg for the expressed purpose of helping Foreign Nationals with immigration problems. ICIE is dedicated to stopping Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) from separating families and violating the Constitution of the United States in their daily operations. ICIE has a full-time immigration attorney, Artur

o Rodriguez III, on staff. Rodriguez has filed three cases in Federal Court and multiple other actions on behalf of the thirty plus families and individuals ICIE is currently helping. Reyna Ruiz is a Non-citizen American that serves as case manager and coordinator of another Isenberg organization, Stop Dreaming & Live. Ruiz has lived in the United States all her adult life and holds a master’s degree in education from Western Texas A&M University. In addition, ICIE works with Graciela Montani of Brief Therapy Institute. Montani has done psychotherapy and consulting for over 25 years. ICIE has an arrangement with Brief Therapy Institute that permits families and individuals that ICIE is working with to get emergency and regular mental health services. The Reverend Peter Johnson also works with ICIE. As a former member of the staff of Martin Luther King, Reverend Johnson assists ICIE in making sure the spiritual needs of ICIE are met. All services provided by ICIE are without expense. Beyond legal help and mental health services, ICIE encourages education. Any person wanting to assist ICIE must be able to speak English. ICIE will pay for class study if necessary. ICIE also makes sure that those that are not permitted to work by law are busy improving themselves by volunteering job training or returning to class.
