I’m very happy that Dr Akkad has taken over- I didn’t care much for the doctor that was there prior to Dr Akkad. Dr Akkad is a breath of fresh air, he is very knowledgeable and really took the time to explain things to me. He is very personable, professional and enthusiastic.
I got my first dental device about 3 years ago from simple sleep services and it absolutely has been a game changer for me. My device has helped me feel 90% more refreshed in the AM, it’s as if a switch was flipped and my AM brain fog was lifted! I do snore still a bit, but the amount and volume of my snoring has improved by about 50 % . Dr Akkad is optimistic that he can improve my snoring more with my new device as well as a commitment on my part to loose a few lbs. My old device is about 3 years old & is worn out. I’m excited in the improvements in additional technologies that my new device will have to help me get even better results!

Just out of curiosity, how do you guys justify charging $1300 for a mouth piece? Especially when you know for a fact how dangerous sleep apnea can be? I keep hearing all these politicians talk about insurance, and it's no wonder rates are so high when crooks like you charge so much for something like that. The markups you charge should be a felony.
When I went to pick up my new device, the tech had me try it on and then made another small mold for my front teeth. She explained that I am to put this in each morning 10 minutes after removing the device to "realign my jaw". Wait...what! No body had ever told me that my jaw would be taken out of alignment each night and have to be put back in place.
I have had jaw issues off and on throughout my adult life and never would have proceeded past the initial visit if this had been explained to me. I took the device home and put it on a shelf in my closet. Good thing my insurance paid all but $100.
Not happy.
