A cupped ear is like a butterfly’s wing that hasn’t fully unfurled- folded over. Just like butterflies need their wings to spread, little ears deserve to bloom. Ear molding helps gently reshape the ear, allowing it to open up naturally and beautifully, like a butterfly in flight.

Have you ever wondered WHY your baby’s ear is deformed? Let us explain!

Some ear deformities can happen due to genetics or position in utero, but others result from the abnormal positioning of the muscles surrounding the ears.

For example, in a Cryptotia ear malformation, there is abnormal insertion of the superior auricular muscle causing the top of the ear to be pulled inwards. But don’t worry, this can be completely corrected WITHOUT surgery, pain, or the need for skin grafts with…. EAR MOLDING!

Ear deformities are common in newborn infants occurring in 15-20% of births. These deformities may be treated with a molding device called EarWell. EarWell offers a non-surgical, painless solution for these babies. All of the common infant ear deformities are shown including Stahl's, prominent, cup, lidding, Spock, constricted, conchal crus, and helical rim deformities.
