Top Five Strategies to Savor Life

Avoid kill-joy thinking
Give yourself permission to enjoy the moment without reservations or thoughts of what could go wrong. This means that you don’t let anything (OR ANYONE) dampen or take away from your joy.

Stop comparing your success to others
There is a temptation to compare your success with others. This is true particularly with the view projected on social media. Instead, compare only to your own experiences.

Share freely with others
Actively seek and include others in personal positive experiences. Listening to shared stories about past events or future plans can amplify positive emotions.

Count your blessings
Foster positive feelings. Pay attention to the blessings by exploring the details such as hummingbirds, breeze and sun on mountain top at your last getaway.

Build memories
By intentionally creating a memory, people can choose the elements from that experience that evoke more pleasure in order to savor that moment to the fullest. Take a mental picture of an event or keep a journal or scrapbook

Today is National Hydration Day.

Drop a πŸ«— if you love drinking water

While we can survive without food for weeks, we can only survive without water for a few days. This is because water is involved in so many crucial functions, you need water to do the following:
Regulate body temperature
Carry nutrients and oxygen to cells
Flush toxins from the body
Lubricate and cushion joints

This is your reminder to drink water throughout the day.
