During Healthy Aging Month, we celebrate the journey toward vitality, wellness, and graceful aging. The month is a reminder that as people age, their minds and bodies change, and that maintaining a healthy lifestyle can help people deal with those changes and prevent some age-related health problems. Some ways to promote healthy aging include:
ðPhysical activity: Getting at least 150 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity physical activity each week
ð¥Diet: Eating a high-quality diet with nutritious fruits, vegetables, and protein.
ðCognitive health: Engaging in mentally stimulating activities like reading, writing letters, and playing games.
ðLifestyle habits: Eating healthy, sleeping well, and not smoking or drinking heavily.
And of course, taking care of your skin! As the largest organ in the body, as you age, so does your skin. Keep your skin healthy by having regular skin checks, moisturizing and using sunscreen, and visiting your local dermatologist when any skin issues arise!
