We are so excited to recognize more than two dozen first responders and emergency dispatchers for playing a vital role in providing lifesaving care to patients in our community. During this recognition lunch, we reviewed six patient cases where the quick thinking of these men and women helped save lives.

One of our own cardiologists, Dr. Saleem Mallick, joined the lunch to show us actual footage of the cardiac catheterization procedure he performed on one of the heart attack patients.

We recognized individuals from Balch Springs Fire Department, Dallas Fire Rescue, Medical Jets, Mesquite Fire Department, and Mesquite Police Department.
