Different types of skin cancer start in different cells. Here’s a guide to what you should look for:

🔍 Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC): Look for flesh-colored, pearl-like bumps or pink patches. Often caused by frequent sun exposure.

🔍 Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC): Appears as red, firm bumps, scaly patches, or sores that heal and reopen. Common on sun-exposed skin.

🔍 Melanoma: The most serious form of skin cancer. Watch for new dark spots or changes in existing moles. Knowing the ABCDEs of melanoma is vital.

🔍 Merkel Cell Carcinoma: A rare but aggressive cancer. Look for firm, shiny nodules on sun-exposed areas like the face, head, and neck.
